A single barcode can provide information about how a package should be packed, where should it be kept, where is the package going etc. A barcode helps in lessening the errors made. If there is any problem with the parcel or it has gone through some damage, a barcode can help in solving the issue. A barcode and its label are very affordable. Labor costs have been increasing a lot but Barcode reduces the cost of it. A drone has made a lot of improvements in the supply chain (The 5 Benefits of Barcodes in Supply Chain Management, 2022). Barcode is a reliable source to track parcels. Many companies have started adopting these barcodes. It’s a very small investment but can help the company in controlling the inventory, and reduction in errors if it is used properly (Behind Barcodes: How They Work, 2022). Drone helps in last-minute deliveries. It has helped in transporting medicines in backward areas. It can also store pictures during auditing. Using a drone system can improve customer satisfaction.
