Discussion Board Instructions
Write a thread addressing each of the instructor’s prompt with at least 350 words and 2 appropriate citation references must be made in current APA format in each thread, and 1 source must be cited in each reply in current APA format. First person is allowed in your posts.
Topic: Suppose you have been asked for advice by a newly-hired instructor who has never taught a college-level course. If you could only recommend 1 chapter from the reading assigned for this module/week, which chapter would you choose? In your thread, write 2 paragraphs. In the first paragraph, support your choice of the 1 chapter as more beneficial than any of the other chapters, and, for the second paragraph, provide an overview of the material in that chapter that would be most important to a first-time college instructor.

Topic: Millennials are also known as Gen Y, Gen Next, Echo Boomers, Screenagers, Facebookers and the MySpace Generation, and these are just a handful of other names. Regardless of what you call this generation of individuals, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are nearly 80 million young adults born between 1976 and 2001 who are preparing or have already joined the workforce. In the presentation this week, Simon Sinek explains how the millennial generation became so entitled. A combination of technology, impatience, and environment have created a wave of young people who experience challenges in the real world.
Answer these questions in your thread: (a) What positive characteristics do millennials bring to an organization? What does this generation feel is important in a job and what do they expect from their employers? What role can you as a college or university professor play in shaping the way the Millennial student thinks about their education or career? Feel free to include a Bible verse or link to another video to support your statement. Your thread must be at least 350 words with 2 appropriate citation references in current APA format.
